taste of summer
Tayport Distillery locks in the freshest raspberry flavour with their latest fruit liqueur. One of our most popular liqueurs, our 1992 Raspberry Liqueur beautifully mimics the delicious Creme de Framboise traditionally found in France. This liqueur is a rival to Chambord Raspberry Liqueur and can be easily drank with champagne or prosecco. Create your own unique cocktails or visit our recipes on our blog. This liqueur is perfect with vodka for a French Martini or why not mix with gin to make a refreshing Bramble cocktail.
Our Scottish raspberries drink in the air of the East Neuk of Fife. The fresh raspberries are then soaked immediately in our vodka base and macerated for over 3 months. The fresh flavour of the raspberries imparts into the alcohol which is then filtered many times to produce a clean and glossy texture. When we pick up our raspberries the aroma fills the van with a jammy sweetness and we can't wait to get back to the distillery and eat a few before they go to be processed for the liqueur.
Similar to the 1992 Blackcurrant Liqueur, the Raspberry Liqueur takes a lot of time and care to make sure that we produce a consistently premium liqueur that stands up to our rivals. Using Scottish fruit was always incredibly important to us as well as being able to honour making it wholly within Tayport.
