About Our Raspberry Liqueur
Tayport Distillery Raspberry Liqueur: A Taste of Scottish Summer
Experience the vibrant taste of a Scottish summer with Tayport Distillery's Raspberry Liqueur. Handcrafted in small batches at our family-run distillery, this premium Scottish liqueur is made using over 1.5kg of raspberries per bottle, grown on local farms in Fife.
Every drop is packed with real fruit flavour — no purées, no concentrates, and no shortcuts — just freshly pressed berries delivering exceptional depth and natural balance.
Our raspberry liqueur has its roots in a relationship with Tim Stockwell at Barnsmuir Farm in Crail, whose peak-season fruit helped shape the recipe in our early years. That grounding in Fife's berry-growing tradition is still what the flavour is built on.
At the Great Taste Awards the judges awarded three stars — the highest possible rating — and wrote: "A stunning raspberry colour on the pour. A lovely smooth texture, not overly sweet but heady with fresh raspberries. Jammy and unctuous, the finish is just long enough to keep your attention and make you want more."
It also holds the Golden Fork for Scotland — the highest regional food and drink award in the country, recognised by an Early Day Motion in the Houses of Parliament — alongside IWSC Gold and a Farm Shop & Deli Gold award. On ITV's Love Your Weekend, Alan Titchmarsh tasted it live and said: "I don't think I've ever tasted anything as nice."
Perfect in a Raspberry Royale, a French Martini, over desserts, or simply on its own.

Tasting Notes
Nose
Freshly picked raspberries take centre stage, offering a bright and perfumed aroma with layers of deep fruit character. Sweet and slightly tart, the scent is rich with natural berry notes — a true reflection of the real Scottish fruit we press by hand.
Palate
Full of flavour, the palate reveals a jammy richness that captures the essence of ripe Scottish raspberries at their best. There’s a smooth, velvety texture that carries just the right balance of sweetness and gentle acidity, allowing the purity of the fruit to shine through without ever overwhelming.
Finish
The finish is clean, bright, and moreish — with a subtle tartness that lingers just long enough to tempt another sip. It’s an elegant close that speaks to the quality of the fruit and the care in every batch.
