Intensely rich and deep in its flavour, the mouthfeel is viscous and syrupy. Think of a sweet red wine flavour or port that you would sip with a board of cheese.
Why Creme de Cassis?
During August 2018, a local farmer contacted us as they knew we liked to work with fruit to create unique products. We really don't like to see fruit go to waste, so we arrived at the farm expecting a small apple crate to experiment with and instead it was 300kg. We rapidly bought a freezer, bagged them up and began researching how to create a cassis! Six months later and it won a Great Taste Award!
