This is a spirit drink that will not disappoint and is guaranteed to give you a surprise! Our Raspberry Eau de Vie has fresh and natural fruit aromas. We are proud our Raspberry Eau de Vie was awarded Silver at the IWSC Awards in 2019 against some strong competition.
This spirit is our most popular Eau de Vie and is best drank during the summer. It is served perfectly with a Mediterranean tonic and a slice of orange.
What is Eau de Vie?
A great question! It isn't quite a gin or vodka. Ultimately it comes down to the way that it is produced. Eau de Vie is traditionally a french spirit, where you use fruit to create a unique flavour profile for the alcohol. At Tayport Distillery, we will macerate fruit for around 3 months in our base spirit, and once it is ready we slowly distil it a fourth time to create a smooth and refined mouth-feel.

Raspberries are delicate fruits and are best eaten fresh to give that burst of tartness and joy when eaten. That's why we only use fresh Scottish raspberries to capture the true flavour in our eau de vie.
